This limited addition series of one-of-a-kind handwoven artworks is inspired by the stillness of winter. Each year when the first snow lands on the city, I become fixated on the blanket of quiet that layers the urban sprawl. It is almost as if time stops. I have many memories of walking the streets of Chicago, Ireland, and New York at night without a person in sight and everything is covered in white. These works are intended to capture these experiences of peace amidst a frozen scape.
