Let’s weave!

In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of weaving on a table top loom. I will work alongside you, helping you develop your piece from the design to weaving process. Because this is a condensed class, you will not be winding the warp or dressing the loom, but rather, your time will be devoted to working creating a finished piece. While you will spend time understanding simple weave drafts and structures, if you are interested in learning the entire process, I recommend signing up for the day-long workshop instead.

You will leave this one-on-one class with a small wall-hanging or “woven drawing”. All materials will be provided. Workshop also includes a free “Weaverbabe” pin.

A meal will not be provided, though coffee and snacks will be served.

The class will take place in my Bushwick, Brooklyn, Studio.
